Expanding for the Future: Fairview Elementary Grows with Its Students.

As enrollment steadily increased at the early childhood level, the District proactively planned for growth at both elementary schools—starting with a thoughtful expansion at Fairview Elementary.

A new four-classroom addition was designed to meet rising demand while creating inspiring, student-centered learning environments. Vibrant finishes and updated color palettes energize the spaces, while teachers benefit from enhanced functionality—including digital boards, markerboards on multiple walls (even cabinet fronts), and generous built-in storage throughout.

The school’s multipurpose room also received a major upgrade. Now larger and more versatile, the space serves as a cafeteria, meeting room, afterschool hub, and the official District 57 board room. New finishes, flexible-use areas divided by an operable wall, and designated storage for lunch tables help staff and students make the most of every square foot.
