COMMUNITY HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT 117
Antioch Community High School
ANTIOCH, ILLINOIS
Modern, Efficient, and Built to Last.
To address aging infrastructure at Antioch Community High School, a new, purpose-built facilities maintenance garage was completed to replace outdated buildings that had long surpassed their life expectancy.
Constructed with durable split-face concrete block and a pre-finished metal roof, the new facility is designed for longevity and minimal maintenance. Every aspect of the design prioritizes functionality, efficiency, and safety; from the inclusion of a fire suppression system and proper ventilation to ample lighting for a secure working environment.
Inside, the garage is optimized for ease of use. A strategically placed storage mezzanine above the office and break room creates space for tools, supplies, and equipment, while leaving room for vehicle storage and operations. A built-in lift supports routine maintenance and repair of district vehicles and equipment.
Safety remains a top priority, with carbon monoxide and nitrogen dioxide detection systems, fire extinguishers, and clearly marked safety signage— all fully compliant with local codes and regulations.
The result is a modern, high-performing facility that supports daily operations and positions the district for long-term success.
