The renovation transformed Antioch Community High School’s outdated foods lab into a vibrant, flexible culinary kitchen designed to support an evolving curriculum.

 

Worn furnishings and fixtures were replaced with sleek, modern cabinetry, seamless stainless-steel countertops, and updated appliances and plumbing. Mobile stainless-steel tables on rolling casters enable adaptable layouts—whether expanding workspace or arranging for lectures.
Reconfiguring student workstations created additional space by removing physical barriers, fostering collaboration and efficiency.

The room’s atmosphere was revitalized with energy-efficient, dimmable LED lighting, clean white washable ceilings, and bold, fresh finishes—creating an inviting environment that inspires creativity and hands-on learning.
