Glencoe SD 35 embarked on a collaborative selection process for updating their middle school classroom furniture.

 

A showcase of furniture types and styles was assembled for students and staff to evaluate and rank.

 

The resultant prototype classroom provides flexibility in group size, furniture layout and options, and teaching modalities using the final furniture choices.

The remodeling updates the 1930s classroom with contemporary finishes and colors to create an energized learning environment.
